Go-Getters is a voluntary community of friendship providing sanctuary and support to adults recovering from severe mental illness on the Lower Eastern Shore of Maryland:

-room, board, and residential guidance

-day activities for skills and recreation

-vocational development

-crisis intervention and respite care

-case management and counseling

-outreach support to homes and work places

-trainings to enhance the larger community's sensitivity to mental illness

Go-Getters goal is to advocate for and encourage the clients of our community to develop self-sufficiency, interdependence, and maximized potential. Services are offered to those willing to work toward recovery - on the members' chosen turf and time, regardless of the nature of the mental illness or co-occurring substance abuse history.
